Strengths
- A free character you can use early until you get better characters later on.
- Constellation upgrade does not cost primo gem.
- Fast elemental skill cooldown.
- Good elemental resistance shredder due to access to the Viridescent Venerer artifact.
- Elemental skill and burst are good for crowd control.
- Elemental skill can potentially generate quite a lot of elemental particles.
- Can further decrease elemental resistance via constellation upgrade.
- One of the few characters that can decrease Anemo resistance directly.
Weaknesses
- Despite being a 5-star character, the base stats scaling is pretty low and is only on par with 4-star characters.
- Elemental skill and burst’s talent scaling are on the lower end compared to other characters.
- Elemental burst damage is a little hard to maximize against huge opponents or enemies that are immune to knockback.
- One of the few characters in the game with no 3rd (utility) passive talent.
Elemental Skill: Palm Vortex

Base Cooldown: | 5 Seconds |
Max Charging Cooldown: | 8 Seconds |
Energy Generated: | 2 Anemo Elemental Particles (Press) 3 Anemo Elemental Particles (Short Hold) 4 Anemo Elemental Particles (Long Hold) |
The Traveler creates a vacuum of wind vortex in her hand, dealing Anemo Damage to all enemies in a small AoE in front of her.
The vortex generates more wind slashes the longer you Hold the skill button (E button for PC users).
You can use this skill in 3 ways:
- Press – Generates wind energy and hurls it to enemies within a short distance.
- Using it this way will deal 1-hit Anemo damage to all enemies within a small area.
- Small enemies hit by the skill will get knockback.
- Generates 2 Anemo Elemental Particles.
- The skill gets the base cooldown of 5 seconds if used this way.
- Using it this way will deal 1-hit Anemo damage to all enemies within a small area.
- Short Hold – Generates wind energy and creates up to 2 wind slashes caught within the skill’s AoE.
- Using it this way will deal up to 3-hit Anemo damage. 2 of them are from smaller wind slashes plus 1 from a wind explosion similar to the damage done when using a quick Press (initial storm damage).
- Once you let go of the elemental skill button, the vacuum will stop and generates an explosion of wind, knocking back small enemies in the process.
- Generates 3 Anemo Elemental Particles.
- Letting go of the elemental skill button quick enough will allow you to get the base cooldown of 5 seconds.
However, letting it go too late will initiate the Long Hold animation giving it the max cooldown of 8 seconds.
- Using it this way will deal up to 3-hit Anemo damage. 2 of them are from smaller wind slashes plus 1 from a wind explosion similar to the damage done when using a quick Press (initial storm damage).
- Long Hold – Builds up a vacuum of wind energy, creating numerous wind slashes and creating storm damage at the end.
- Using it this way will generate up to 4 more wind slashes plus storm damage.
This deals a total of up to 8-hit Anemo damage to enemies caught within the vortex. 1 from initial storm damage, 2 from the initial wind slashes, 4 more wind slashes from when the storm grows and 1 for the final storm damage once it explodes. - The final storm damage will also knock back smaller enemies.
- Generates 4 Anemo Elemental Particles.
- Using the skill at max duration will also give it the max cooldown of 8 seconds.
- Using it this way will generate up to 4 more wind slashes plus storm damage.
The elemental skill as a whole also gets these effects:
- With the Second Wind passive talent unlocked, defeating an enemy using this skill will regenerate 2% of your max HP for 5 seconds.
This effect can only trigger once every 5 seconds. - With the 1st constellation unlocked, using the Short Hold and Long Hold attack pattern will pull enemies within a 5m radius in front of you.
- With the 4th constellation unlocked, the Traveler will gain 10% damage reduction while using this elemental skill.

Elemental Burst: Gust Surge

Cooldown: | 15 Seconds |
Duration: | 6 Seconds |
Energy Cost: | 60 Energy |
The Traveler jumps and creates a huge tornado, hurling it at the enemies and pulling everything within its path.
This elemental burst has the following effects:
- Deals up to 9-hit Anemo Damage every 0.5 seconds.
- If the tornado comes in contact with another element, it will absorb it and deal additional elemental damage to that same element.
Elemental absorption can only trigger once per skill usage. - The tornado pulls both small enemies and nearby objects such as items or bombs from Klee’s skill.
- With the 6th constellation unlocked, it will reduce enemies’ Anemo Resistance by 20%.
If an elemental absorption occurs, it will also reduce the enemies’ resistance to that same element by 20%.
