Xingqiu performs an acrobatic upward strike with his sword dealing Hydro Damage on all enemies in front of him.
This elemental skill has the following traits:
- The skill deals Hydro damage twice during its execution. The 2nd strike deals more damage than the first one.
- Upon activation of the skill, Xingqiu will be infused with the Wet status for 1 second. This makes you vulnerable to Hydro elemental reaction within that 1 second time frame.
This is still better than Barbara’s elemental skill which infuses you with the wet status throughout the duration of the skill. - The skill also creates 3 Rains Swords that will orbit your active character for 15 seconds.
The Rain Swords has the following traits:- When taking damage, one of the swords absorbs some of it and then shatters. The damage absorption scales as the talent level increases.
- An additional Damage Reduction is gained equal to 20% of Xingqiu’s Hydro Damage.
You can only gain up to 24% damage reduction through this effect. - Increases the active character’s resistance to interruption.
- With the Hydropathic passive talent unlocked, each shattered sword will regenerate your active character’s HP equal to 6% of Xingqiu’s Max HP.
This effect will also trigger once the duration expires even if none of the swords were previously shattered. - With the 1st constellation unlocked, the number of Rain Swords created will increase from 3 to 4 swords. This additional sword will also apply to Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst.
- Enemies that come in contact with one of the swords will be infused with the Wet Status allowing you to perform Hydro-related elemental reactions.
- The Rain Swords carries over even if you switch your main character during Single Player mode.

Xingqiu summons the Rainbow Bladeworks illusory water swords that attack alongside him.
Rainbow Bladeworks has the following effects:
- The active character’s normal attack will also trigger the Rain Swords to attack and deal Hydro damage up to 3 times.
- The Rain Swords will not shatter and will remain at its maximum number until the duration expires.
- Throughout my test, the Rain Swords created through the Elemental Burst do not inherit the damage reduction effect from the elemental skill.
But the HP regeneration through the passive skill does work and will trigger once the duration of this skill expires. - All described effects of the Rainbow Bladeworks remains even during character switch.

Charged Attack:
Xingqiu consumes a small amount of stamina and unleashes a fast 2-hit combo using this sword.
Plunging Attack:
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE Damage upon impact.
