Hu Tao enters the Paramita Papilio state for 9 seconds at the cost of 30% of her current HP.
Hu Tao gains the following attributes while in the Paramita Papilio state:
- Increase Attack based on her current HP at the time of the skill’s activation. The Attack Bonus gained through the skill cannot exceed 400% of Hu Tao’s base attack.
- Converts all her basic attacks (Normal, Charged and Plunge) to Pyro Damage. This cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion like from Chongyun’s elemental skill.
- Increase resistance to interruption.
- Hu Tao’s charged attack will apply the Blood Blossom status to all enemies she hits through the attack.
The Blood Blossom status has the following effects:- Enemies affected by this status will take Pyro damage every 4 seconds.
- Hitting enemies more than once with a charged attack will not stack its effect but will extend its duration.
- Its damage is considered elemental skill damage and has a separate critical chance.
- With the 2nd constellation unlocked, the Blood Blossom’s damage is increase by 10%.
- With the 4th constellation unlocked, all nearby party members (excluding Hu Tao) will gain 12% boost in critical rate when defeating enemies affected by the Blood Blossom.
- All effects from the Paramita Papilio will be removed once you switch characters or Hu Tao dies.
- With the Flutter By passive talent unlocked, all characters in the party (excluding Hu Tao) will gain a 12% increase in the critical rate for 8 seconds once the elemental skill ends.
This can be forcibly activated by switching to a different character once you activate the ability. - With the 1st constellation unlocked, Hu Tao’s charged attack will not consume stamina while she’s under the effect of this elemental skill.

Hu Tao summons a ghost and deal Pyro Damage on all surrounding enemies in a large AoE.
Additionally, this elemental burst gives the following effects:
- Regenerates a portion of Hu Tao’s HP depending on the number of enemies hit by the elemental burst.
- The HP regeneration effect cannot exceed more than 5 targets.
- If Hu Tao’s current HP is less than 50% upon activation of the skill, Spirit Soother’s skill damage and HP regeneration are increased.
- With the 2nd constellation unlocked, this skill will also apply the Blood Blossom status effect on all enemies it hits.

Normal Attack:
Hu Tao performs up to 6 consecutive strikes with her spear.
Charged Attack:
At the cost of small stamina, Hu Tao lunges forward in a straight line, dealing damage to all enemies along the way.
Having the 1st constellation while under the effects of the Paramita Papilio will not consume stamina.
Plunging Attack:
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE Damage upon impact.

 Butterfly’s Embrace (C6) | Hu Tao gains the following effects when her HP drops below 25% or she takes a lethal strike from enemies: – Hu Tao will not die as a result of the lethal strike. – Hu Tao’s Elemental and Physical Resistance is increased by 200% for 10 seconds. – Hu Tao’s Critical Rate is boosted to 100% for 10 seconds. – Greatly increase resistance to interruption for 10 seconds. – Effect automatically triggers when Hu Tao has 1 HP left. – This effect can only trigger once every 60 seconds. |
